We mentioned last week that the Ravens fired former Redskins head coach Jim Zorn, the team's quarterbacks coach, because they were worried about insubordination of some kind. The obvious question is what the team's quarterback, Joe Flacco, thought of that.↵
The answer? He's not happy. Here's what he told Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times:
↵↵Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is unhappy about the firing of quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn, saying, "I'm not happy about it, and they know I'm not happy about it."↵
Flacco said he considered the decision a personal attack on his own ability to play quarterback, wondering why the team would let him go after it won 13 games and Flacco's own production improved. He said he has expressed this opinion to the team, and isn't going to back down now that the decision has been made.↵
I guess this means you can add another player to the list of guys that likes Jim Zorn.
