Eagles Vs. Redskins: Kory Lichtensteiger Injures Knee

Stay connected for news and updates

Through four games, the Redskins have avoided major injuries. That appears to have changed as starting offensive lineman Kory Lichtensteiger was forced to ride a cart off the field following a first quarter Rex Grossman interception.

According to a television report Lichtensteiger injured his knee on the play. His return to the game is questionable.

Lichtensteiger has been a quality player for the Redskins this year and a stable presence on the offensive line. If the knee injury forces Lichtensteiger to miss significant time it will be a blow to a Redskins offensive line that has played better than some expectatins this year.

After taking a hard hit on a pass completion, tight end Chris Cooley also went into the locker room. No word yet on his status.
