Washington Redskins Injury Report: Oshiomogho Atogwe Listed As Questionable With Knee Injury

Stay connected for news and updates

Washington Redskins safety Oshiomogho Atogwe missed his third straight practice on Friday due to a knee injury and is listed as questionable for Washington's game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Coach Mike Shanahan told the media the seven-year veteran is "definitely not ruled out," so there is indeed a chance he could play. Indeed, the Redskins only held him out of practice because "we didn't want to push him," said Shanahan. Otogwe has tallied 19 tackles, one interception, and two passes defensed for the Redskins this season.

His presence would certainly help Washington's depleted secondary. Cornerback Byron Westbrook has not practiced in either of the last two days and is out against Carolina, and cornerback Phillip Buchanon--despite practicing in full Friday--is questionable due to injuries to his neck and knee.

The news on defensive backs isn't all bad, however: cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who was limited in Thursday's practice, is listed as probable against Carolina and practiced in full on Friday.
