VIDEO: Cam Newton Makes Washington Redskins' Defense Look Silly

On the one hand, as a fan of the Washington Redskins, this 25-yard run by Cam Newton on Carolina's opening drive was an example of horrendous tackling. The Redskins should have had Newton in the backfield. They should have had him when DeAngelo Hall came up to tackle him short of the first down. They should have had him when he had the first down and was about to bounce it outside. Instead, Newton broke free for a huge run and eventually led the Panthers on a scoring drive.

On the other hand, as a fan of football, this run was nuts. So please, folks, take a second to set partisan views aside and just appreciate the incredible athleticism on this play. GIF is via @bubbaprog. Click to play. There's also video below the jump.
