Santana Moss Injury Update: Redskins' WR Out For Game Vs. Panthers

There has been no official update on the injury status of Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss, but according to a report by CBS' Charley Casserly, Moss is not expected to return to the game against the Carolina Panthers. Moss suffered a left hand injury earlier in the game.

Upon suffering the injury, Moss raced to the trainer's room, then returned with his hand wrapped. The Redskins have thus far only said that he is questionable to return. However, judging from what is being wrapped on his hand, a return does seem unlikely. In fact, he emerged from the halftime locker room with a T-shirt and shorts on, which indicates he is done for the day.

Without Moss, Jabar Gaffney, Anthony Armstrong, Niles Paul and Terrence Austin will need to step up. This may also give third-round pick Leonard Hankerson an opportunity. Hankerson has been made active for the first time all season.
