Redskins Vs. Panthers Score Update: John Beck Scores Rushing TD To Cut Panther Lead To 16-13

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington Redskins have pulled within three points of the Carolina Panthers as John Beck scored a rushing touchdown to make the score 16-13 in the third quarter.

The scoring drive was an impressive but costly one for the Redskins, one that saw Beck hit tight ends Fred Davis and Logan Paulsen to set up first and goal.

Then on third and goal, Beck felt the rush coming his right side, and rushed to his left for the score. He emphatically spiked the ball after the touchdown. Video below.

Now that it's a three point again once again, it will be up to the Redskins defense to continue to keep the Carolina offense at bay. The Panthers are beginning to gain confidence on offense after Newton's seventh rushing touchdown of the season.
