As if Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins wasn't bad enough for Washington Redskins fans, the following things also happened in other games:
-
Carlos Rogers intercepted two passes in the San Francisco 49ers' 27-20 win over the New York Giants. He now has five picks in nine games this season. He had a total of five interceptions in his final four seasons for the Redskins.
-
Andre Carter had four (!) sacks in the New England Patriots' 37-16 win over the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football. In nine games with New England this season as a part-time pass rusher, Carter has nine sacks and 23 tackles. In 16 games with the Redskins in 2010 as a part-time pass rusher, Carter had 2.5 sacks and 25 tackles.
Oh yeah, and the two players also play for teams with a combined record of 14-4. Way to kick a fanbase while its down, you guys.
