Redskins Vs. Seahawks Score Update: Seahawks Take 10-7 Lead After Third Quarter

After a first half that saw good offensive ball movement, the third quarter slowed to a crawl. Neither the Washington Redskins or the Seattle Seahawks moved the ball particularly well, and the only scoring came on a 36-yard field goal from Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka to give Seattle a 10-7 lead.

Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman threw his second interception on a deep route to Santana Moss. Moss was heavily covered on the play, with three Seahawks defenders surrounding him. The running game looked strong for Washington in the first half, though running back Roy Helu has not had many chances in the second half.

The Washington defense continues to play well, limiting Seattle quarterback Tarvaris Jackson to under 80 yards passing and under 40 percent completion rate. Seattle's leading receiver for the game, Doug Baldwin, only has three catches for 25 yards through three quarters. The Seahawk offense relies heavily on running back Marshawn Lynch for explosive plays and to gain yardage. Lynch has 100 yards on the ground for the Seahwaks through three quarters and the lone Seahawks touchdown.
