Let's get this out of the way first: Trent Williams absolutely deserved to be penalized for shoving Justin Smith in the back just when it looked like the Washington Redskins were getting some momentum against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. It was a bone-headed play and it was incredibly costly.

That said, this flop by Smith also deserves to be ridiculed. Smith is standing upright at one point, then simply falls down once the referee looks over. If you're being really generous, you could say Smith lost his balance while trying to plead his case to the referee and simply fell down. That's being generous, though. Animated GIF below the jump.
