2012 NFL Draft Standings: Washington Redskins Would Pick 4th Overall If Season Ended Today

Stay connected for news and updates

With the Washington Redskins falling to the New England Patriots on Sunday in a thrilling football game, ending on a Rex Grossman interception, they might have put themselves right in line to potentially draft a quarterback. With the loss to the Patriots, it puts the Redskins at 4-9 for the season. If the 2012 NFL season were to end today, the Washington Redskins would hold the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Currently however the Redskins are tied with five other teams, record wise. The 'Skins are tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, and the Cleveland Browns. Based on current strength of schedule, the Redskins would hold the SOS tie breaker over all of the other teams they are currently tied with.
