The Washington Redskins have released their practice report from Thursday's session. Once again, safety Laron Landry did not participate.
Head coach Mike Shanahan said he would not rule out Landry for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, but noted that the groin injury was still causing problems for the safety, according to the team's official press release. Shanahan noted that Landry was able to display some positive movement in Thursday's practice, calling that a "good sign." Shanahan noted that there was always a possibility Landry could be finished for the season, but really wasn't able to make any definitive statements either way.
Punter Sav Rocca, who was not able to participate in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle issue, had limited participation on Thursday, in another positive sign. DL Chris Baker was out of Thursday's practice due to a quad issue. Here is the full report from Thursday's practice:
