LaRon Landry Injury To Cause Washington Redskins' Safety To Miss Game Vs. New England Patriots

Stay connected for news and updates

LaRon Landry will miss yet another game due to a groin injury, coach Mike Shanahan announced in his press conference on Friday. It is the second straight game Landry has missed and third game in the last four due to various ailments. Reed Doughty has traditionally started in Landry's face, though we will know for sure on Sunday.

Landry has missed practice all week, so the decision was fairly predictable. It is the second straight week that he has not practiced.

Landry has played in eight of the Redskins' 12 games this season, as he has been bothered by Achilles, groin and other injuries. Last season, he only played in nine games before going down with a season-ending Achilles injury. That means that he has missed a total of 11 of the Redskins' last 19 games.
