Consensus 2011 NFL Draft Grades Place Redskins 11th Out Of 32

Here's a pretty cool tool from Real Clear Sports that we were playing around with a lot on Monday. Basically, it takes several prominent 2011 NFL Draft grades from around the Internet and compiles them into a consensus "GPA," based on the standard academic scale. Eight draft grades were weighed in all, and the table spit out an average to determine the true grade for each team.

How did the Washington Redskins fare on this scale? According to the table, they earned a 2.99 GPA, which puts them in a tie for 11th with the Indianapolis Colts and essentially on a "B" level. The Redskins were aided by a generous grade from Rotoworld's Evan Silva, who gave the team an A- when many others focused on them not selecting a quarterback.

The Detroit Lions had the highest mark in the league, while the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks made up the bottom. The Redskins had the second-highest consensus grade in the division, behind the New York Giants (seventh). The Philadelphia Eagles finished 20th, while the Dallas Cowboys were 29th.
