NFL Lockout: Players Will Not Vote On New CBA Until Monday, According To Report

It appears the NFL lockout will drag on until at least the rest of the weekend. The owners approved a new CBA Thursday, but the players have yet to vote and will not do so until Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Player reps emailed a letter to players saying, "We will meet again Monday to discuss our options and the direction we want to go."

This will likely affect the timeline for the start of free agency and training camp. Previously, the owners' timetable called for July 27 to be the opening day for both, but this could potentially push that back even further.

The owners ratified a new CBA on Thursday unanimously and handed it off to the players, but the players wanted to give it some time to consider some new additions the owners made. Training camp will likely open later now.
