Former Maryland football kicker/punter Travis Baltz will get his chance to make an NFL team. Baltz has signed with the Indianapolis Colts, according to his agent. Alelqui Boué made the announcement on his Twitter account just now.
Congrats to client, P/K Travis Baltz, on becoming a member of the Indianapolis Colts today
Baltz handled the kicking and punting duties last season after spending most of his time as the team's punter. The Colts have Adam Vinatieri as their kicker, but he is getting up there in years. They also have Michigan State kicker Brett Swenson on the roster. Pat McAfee is their punter.
