NFL Free Agency Rumors: Washington Redskins Sign CB Josh Wilson To Three-Year Contract, According To Report

The Washington Redskins are thin at cornerback, so they have made a move to sign one. They have signed local product Josh Wilson, according to a report by Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun. The contract is for three years and $13.5 million, with $6 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Wilson is a four-year pro who spent his first three years in Seattle before playing for the Baltimore Ravens last season. He started nine games for the Ravens last season, picking off three passes in 14 games. For his career, he has nine interceptions. He also is a kick returner, having led the NFL in returns and return yardage for the Seahawks in 2008.

It is unclear if Wilson will start or be the nickel cornerback. The move may also signal the departure of free-agent Carlos Rogers, who has been likely to depart for a while now.
