Rabach was a third round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2001, but had started all but one game for the Redskins since being acquired in 2005. The Redskins don't have an immediate replacement on the roster, but if they are comfortable releasing Rabach, then they must be planning to find someone in free agency.
