NFL Free Agency Rumors: Redskins Sign Ryan Kerrigan, Rest Of Rookies

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington Redskins have signed all 12 of their 2011 NFL Draft picks, according to several reports. That means that they all should be present when the Redskins hold their first practice at training camp on Friday.

The big one to take care of was first-round pick Ryan Kerrigan. The team worked on the deal late into the night, but it has been agreed upon according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post. It appears the paperwork will be finalized in the morning.

Earlier in the night, second-round pick Jarvis Jenkins agreed to a contract, announcing the news on his Twitter account. His deal appears to be finalized already. The only ones left besides those two were seventh-round picks Brandyn Thompson and Maurice Hurt, but according to John Keim of the Washington Examiner, those deals are done too.

Signing rookies to salaries is made easier with the new rookie scale, but it's still nice to have all the Redskins' rookies ready to go for camp.
