Horatio 'H.B.' Blades Is Mad, But He's Not Released Yet

On July 31, 2011, the Redskins re-signed special teams ace Horatio "H.B." Blades to a one-year contract. Presumably, there was some dialogue about how Blades would be more involved on defense this season. Since that day, the Redskins have re-signed incumbent starter Rocky McIntosh, as well as fellow special teams ace linebacker Keyaron Fox from the Steelers.

Now, Blades is mad. He just sent out the following on his Twitter account.

Right is right wrong is wrong. Don't ask people to be loyal when ur not. It's been real dc appreciate yaless than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

Obviously, some eyebrows were raised. Some speculated that Blades had been released, because why else would he tweet that? But as it turns out, Blades is still with the team and was only expressing frustration at his general situation.

Then again, people who suggest things like Blades did about their employers tend to get let go at some point. We'll see how this one plays out.
