VIDEO: Brian Orakpo's Blocked Field Goal In Giants Vs. Redskins Game

The biggest play of the Washington Redskins' 28-14 win over the New York Giants was Ryan Kerrigan's interception return off Eli Manning to give the Redskins the lead for good. This blocked kick by Brian Orakpo, though, is a close second. Without this, the Redskins may not emerge victorious.

The timing of this play was very significant. The Giants had just forced a fumble on Rex Grossman, running it back inside the Redskins' 30-yard line. The Redskins had stuffed the Giants on a fourth and one, but this field goal, which was very makeable, would have cut Washington's lead to three. Instead, Orakpo made the block to preserve the seven-point margin, and the Redskins scored two possessions later.

Of course, the block may have happened by accident. Orakpo wasn't even facing Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes, and it's not like Tynes got away a clean kick either. Still, it was a massive play by the Redskins' most well-known defensive player.
