In case there was any doubt, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is expected to play in the Monday Night Football game against the Washington Redskins after suffering a rib injury last week. ESPN's Ed Werder reports that Romo will receive an injection to numb the pain in his broken rib. Via SBNation.com:

Romo's punctured lung has reportedly healed and dealing with the rib injury he has is generally a matter of pain tolerance. For that, ESPN's Ed Werder reports, Romo will take a painkiller injection for Monday's game and give it a go.

None of this is a surprise, since Romo himself said on Sunday that he would be "good to go" to play in the game. The Redskins will now just have to stop him and the Cowboys' first-string offense, save for wide receiver Miles Austin, who will miss the game.
