The Washington Redskins lost a heartbreaker Monday night to the Dallas Cowboys, falling 18-16 to Tony Romo and the leg of rookie Dallas kicker Dan Bailey. Washington will bemoan missed opportunities all week, but they can at least be happy with the play of safety LaRon Landry in his first action of the season. Landry had four tackles in the game, forced a fumble and delivered THE hit of the game on Cowboys wide receiver Laurent Robinson. For the sake of the children, Landry's hit is after the jump:
As several Redskins beat writers noted after the play, it seemed Landry had been dreaming of that hit all through the off season and his oft-discussed rehab.
