The Washington Redskins held steady at No. 13 in SB Nation's NFL Power Rankings for Week 4 despite losing a sloppy 18-16 game to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Even though the Redskins fell to an undermanned Cowboys team, the rankings decided to leave Washington in the same spot as last week. Joel Thorman writes that the Redskins being close to going 3-0 merited keeping them at No. 13.
The Redskins were a field goal away from moving to 3-0. They have the 0-3 Rams next week before the bye and then another big divisional game against the Eagles.
The Cowboys' win, however, vaulted them up from No. 14 to No. 9 in the rankings. The New York Giants come right behind Washington at No. 14, and the Philadelphia Eagles tumbled all the way to No. 17.
