Saturday's batch of NFL roster cuts are done, and now it's time for teams to finalize their practice squads. Eight players can be named to the practice squad, so long as they were not on an NFL active roster for more than nine games. As such, the Washington Redskins are beginning to finalize their practice squad.
According to several reports, all three draft picks that were released on Saturday will be on the team's practice squad. That includes sixth-round pick Evan Royster, sixth-round pick Aldrick Robinson and seventh-round pick Maurice Hurt. Reggie Jones and Doug Worthington are the other players who have been named to the practice squad as of right now.
The Redskins still have three spots on the practice squad to fill. For more on the rules regarding the practice squad, click here.
We'll be keeping track of all the roster moves that the Redskins make in this StoryStream, but check out Hogs Haven for more information.
