Washington Redskins Considering Raheem Morris As Defensive Backs Coach, According To Report

The Washington Redskins finished at 5-11 this year, one game worse than their 6-10 finish a year ago. Needless to say, the organization will go through some changes before we see it next Fall. Some of those changes might come to the coaching staff, and Jason la Canfora of NFL.com confirms that the team has met with Raheem Morris and might be interested in bringing him on board to help with the defensive backfield.

The Washington Redskins are considering Raheem Morris for a position coaching the team's defensive backs, according to league sources. The Redskins are in the process of shaking up their coaching staff following a 5-11 season. Morris interviewed with the team this week after he was fired Monday as head coach of the Buccaneers following three seasons in Tampa Bay.

Morris has held the DB Coach position at various times throughout his young career, and still has a lot of potential to evolve into more as a coach. He could be a nice shot of youth into the Redskins organization and help mix things up a little bit.
