Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, still prohibited from any contact following the concussion he suffered in the Redskins loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Griffin seems to be progressing well, and he expects to start, but his status for Washington's Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings is still uncertain.
Missing practice for the Redskins on Wednesday was safety Brandon Merriweather. Merriweather has yet to play for Washington, missing the first three games with a knee injury and then injuring his knee again in a collision with wide receiver Aldrick Robinson prior to the Redskins Week 4 game. Defensive end Doug Worthington also missed practice with a calf injury.
Cornerback Cedric Griffin was limited in practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Griffin missed Washington's last two games after injuring his hamstring in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Running back Evan Royster (knee) was a full participant in practice.
