Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Washington Redskins opened as 1.5 point favorites over the Minnesota Vikings.

The early odds on Sunday's game between the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings have the Redskins as 1.5 point favorites. While the other games have their lines up to date, this game's lines have not been updated because of the injury to Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.

No totals have even been revealed for this game as of yet. Not only will the Redskins be looking to snap an eight-game losing streak at FedEx Field, they hope to buck recent trends against the spread. In the last five games at FedEx Field, the Redskins are 0-4-1 against the spread and 2-5 in their last seven overall games.

As for the point totals, whenever they come out, the recent trend has been favorable as of late. In the Redskins' last five games, the total has gone over four times. In addition, in their last six games at home, the total has gone over five times. However, against the Vikings, the total has gone under in seven of the last 10 games and in five of the last six games at FedEx Field.
