Washington Redskins long snapper Nick Sundberg could return from his broken arm as early as Wednesday. How long will it take for him to regain his form?

Washington Redskins long snapper Nick Sundberg could be cleared to return to practice as early as next Wednesday, according to Tarik El-Bashir of CSNWashington.com. Sundberg broke his left arm in the season opener against the New Orleans Saints and was placed on the injured reserve under the new "designated to return" exception.

Sundberg will have a follow-up examination on Monday and could be cleared to practice then. The earliest that Sundberg could return will be in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. When asked about how the arm feels, Sundberg is cautious about his status:

"If I'm ready, I'll get out there on Wednesday and see how it goes," he said. It's been "awful. This is the longest I've ever gone without snapping."

Sundberg has been around team on a daily basis despite the injury. He's studied alongside Justin Snow, who was signed to replace him when he was hurt. Regardless of the long layoff, Sundberg doesn't think that it'll take too much time for him to regain his form:

"Because I've been doing it so long, it's like riding a bike," Sundberg said when asked how long it will take to regain his form. "I've created so much muscle memory over the years that I know what I'm doing, so it shouldn't take much time to get back.

The Redskins play the Giants on Sunday with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
