Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon and safety Brandon Meriweather are listed as questionable, but are expected to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Coach Mike Shanahan told the media that both will play barring any setbacks.

Garcon continues to recover from a plantar plate tear in his right foot that has caused him to miss four straight games. Garcon returned to practice this week, but was limited in his participation. The Redskins have not had a 100-yard receiver since he caught four passes for 109 yards in Week 1.

Fans can also look forward to the debut of Brandon Meriweather, who has missed the first nine games due to a series of knee injuries dating back to the preseason. The addition of Meriweather at strong safety will certainly strengthen the Washington secondary, which ranks third-worst in the NFL (301.7 passing yards per game).

The Redskins have indicated that all other players in the injury report -- DeAngelo Hall, Santana Moss, Sav Rocca, Nick Sundberg, Trent Williams, and Josh Wilson -- are probable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
