Two primetime matchups between NFC East combatants highlight the week's slate of NFL games in Week 13, including a Monday-night showdown between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins that could help the Redskins close the gap on the division-leading Giants.
Coming off of two consecutive wins over division foes Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, the 5-6 Redskins have climbed into a tie with the Cowboys for second place in the division, two games back of the 7-4 Giants. The Giants handled the Green Bay Packers easily last Sunday night, winning 38-10 in preparation for their showdown with the Redskins.
The Giants topped the Redskins, 27-23, in the teams' first meeting of the season, a Week 7 matchup at MetLife Stadium at East Rutherford, N.J.
Elsewhere, the Eagles and Cowboys will square off in a Sunday-night primetime meeting as the two jockey to stay in the NFC East hunt.
