Washington was able to pull off a comeback victory behind backup quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Even more impressive is the fact the Redskins did it without their starting quarterback, Robert Griffin III, who was inactive with a sprained knee.
In his place stepped Kirk Cousins, who while not spectacular got the job done. Cousins led his team to 28 second-half points, ultimately turning out to be one of the key contributors.
Outside of Griffin, some other unfortunate injury news came out of the game with right tackle Tyler Polumbus sustaining a concussion. It's unclear at this point whether he'll be able to play next week.
Center Will Montgomery is also banged up after straining his left MCL late. He's day-to-day.
Inside linebacker Lorenzo Alexander was sidelined briefly with a stinger but was able to return in the second half, so he's good to go moving forward.
