The Redskins will try to keep rolling towards an improbable playoff berth against the Eagles.
The Washington Redskins visit the Philadelphia Eagles as they attempt to keep control of their own playoff destiny on Sunday. The Redskins have won five-straight games and can win the NFC East with victories in the final two weeks of the season. They face an Eagles team that has lost nine of its last 10 games after a 3-1 start.
Washington is likely to have quarterback Robert Griffin III back against Philadelphia. Fellow rookie Kirk Cousins got the start and performed well in leading the Redskins to a win over the Cleveland Browns and coming in and finishing out an overtime win over Baltimore in Week 14.
The Redskins had little trouble with the Eagles just five weeks ago, winning 31-6 behind 200 yards passing and 84 yards rushing from RG3. That game was the second start for Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles, and it has been his worst to date. Foles posted his lowest quarterback rating, completion percentage and yards per pass of the season against Washington.
Game time, TV schedule: 1 p.m. ET, FOX
Spread: Washington favored by six.
