Maryland Terrapins running back Davin Meggett will get his chance to personally impress NFL scouts and front-office brass March 13 during the Terrapins' Pro Day. The Maryland event will be held after the NFL Draft Combine, which will be held Feb. 22-28 in Indianapolis.
Meggett is the only Terrapin that was invited to the NFL Combine and is the only Maryland football player that has a real shot at getting drafted. Currently, NFLDraftScout.com has projected Meggett as a fifth-round selection. Meggett could improve his draft stock by being quicker, faster and stronger than the other running back prospects.
For those that don't know the different between the NFL Combine and a school's Pro Day, there's not many differences except that the Pro Day is a bit more personal than the combine and the showcase is held on the campus of the player's school.
