The prop bets and handicapping of every little detail around the Super Bowl simply add to the atmosphere that makes Sunday seem like a national holiday. The handicapping over who will win the MVP is among the most debated and discussed prop bet out there.
Currently, New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady is the favorite to win the MVP, with 7/5 odds. Giants quarterback Eli Manning is just behind Brady, with 9/4 odds to take home the MVP. With the Patriots currently a slight favorite, it's no surprise that their quarterback is a favorite to win the MVP.
Outside of quarterback, wide receiver is typically a position that can bring home the MVP, with three of the last seven coming from that spot on the field. Victor Cruz currently is the non-quarterback favorite to win it, with 8/1 odds. Hakeem Nicks and Wes Welker have 12/1 odds, followed by 14/1 Rob Gronkowski and his high-ankle sprain.
