Secondary was a position that the Redskins needed to address in the off season and this signing does not appear to be too bad financially. Meriweather has had problems with undisciplined play in the secondary before while in Chicago and in New England, but maybe some time with defensive coordinator Jim Haslett can help him learn the discipline he needs.
