NFL Free Agency 2012: Brandon Meriweather Signs With Washington Redskins, According To Report

The Washington Redskins continue their free agent frenzy by signing safety Brandon Meriweather to a 2 year, $6 million deal, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Jason La Canfora.

Secondary was a position that the Redskins needed to address in the off season and this signing does not appear to be too bad financially. Meriweather has had problems with undisciplined play in the secondary before while in Chicago and in New England, but maybe some time with defensive coordinator Jim Haslett can help him learn the discipline he needs.
