The Redskins have locked up some more help for their secondary, as first confirmed by John Keim of The Washington Examiner.

Williams had visited the Redskins, and was reportedly offered contract terms by the team Friday. Earlier this week, he flew to Atlanta to meet with the Falcons before deciding he wanted to join the Redskins. Williams, a former Maryland Terrapin, has previously played for the San Francisco 49ers, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Cincinnati Bengals in his eight-year NFL career. He was a regular starter prior to his time in San Francisco, where he only started three games in 2011.
