Could the Redskins be looking to trade a bright spot from last year's roster to help give them more draft picks? Does Jabar Gaffney's recent actions on twitter have anything to do with this?
Trade rumors near the NFL draft are not a new thing, especially for teams that are possibly looking to stockpile draft picks like the Washington Redskins. Redskins wide receiver Jabar Gaffney told ESPN 980's Chris Russell that the Redskins are trying to trade him.
As just heard on @ESPNRadio980, Jabar Gaffney has told me that he was told #Redskins are trying to trade him."They are trying to trade me."

Gaffney was one of the few bright spots on the Redskins offense last season catching 68 passes for 947 yards and five touchdowns. Trading a player like Gaffney could yield more picks for a Redskins team that sacrificed a first round and second round pick this season to move up to the No. 2 overall pick.
The receiver could believe that his recent actions on twitter about Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard could have some part in these latest rumors. Regardless, it seems that a very gifted wide receiver could potentially be on the market.
