NFL Mock Draft 2012: SB Nation Predicts The Redskins Will Select Robert Griffin III

Yet again, an outlet is predicting that the Washington Redskins will select Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday night in New York City. This time it's SB Nation with the prediction, though it wasn't as quiet as it has been with Griffin in prior weeks. The latest wrinkle came with the sudden revelation that Griffin has 'character issues.' However, it appears that many folks agree that the Redskins will take Griffin with the pick, character issues or not.

As if you needed another reminder of just how absurd things get this time of year, some team or pundit decided to leak out some horrendous character concerns about RG3. Jason Kirk thoroughly debunked the foolishness.

Why someone would want to wait until almost a week until the draft to start bringing up character concerns is anyone's guess. More than likely it will not effect the draft order on Thursday night.
