NFL Free Agency 2012: Redskins Bring K Neil Rackers In For Visit

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington Redskins found time in their draft preparation to host free agent kicker Neil Rackers recently. According to Aaron Wilson of Fox and the National Football Post, Rackers was the most recent free agent the Redskins hosted after loading up early in the offseason.

Rackers, 35, put 32 of his 38 field goal attempts through the uprights for the Houston Texans this season. He was four-for-five on attempts of 50 yards or more. Both sides were talking about a new contract, but nothing has materialized. Washington could upgrade their kicking position over Graham Gano, who made just 75 percent of his field goal attempts last season.
