Redskins Training Camp: Jamaal Brown's Injury Is Not Serious

Stay connected for news and updates

Injuries have put a cloud over the Washington Redskins' training camp so far. The team did get some good news on Wednesday morning as the results of Jamaal Brown's MRI revealed that the offensive tackle does not have a serious injury related to his hip, according to Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports.

Washington is counting on a healthy Brown to provide some consistency on the right side of their offensive line. With rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III taking snaps, the offensive line will be especially important this season.

Earlier, the Redskins lost guard Kory Lichtensteiger to a knee injury, and he might not play at all during the preseason. The team signed offensive tackle Jordan Black to provide some depth.
