The Washington Redskins are expected by almost every pundit's prediction to defeat the St. Louis Rams in Week 2 on Sunday.
The Washington Redskins, headed by rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, will be expected to win when they head to St. Louis to face the Rams in Week 2 on Sunday.
After Griffin III's Week 1 debut against the New Orleans Saints, in which he went 19-for-26 for 320 yards and two touchdowns in the win, the Redskins visit a Rams team that let a late lead slip away on the road against the Detroit Lions in Week 1 as they lost, 27-23.
Most pundit predictions see Washington improving to 2-0 this week, including SB Nation's NFL Editor Joel Thorman:
The Redskins have a quarterback that everyone loves and they're a 3-point road favorite. When's the last time that happened?
The Pick: 31-17, Redskins
Elsewhere, Sport Illustrated's Peter King foresees a 23-20 Washington win, saying, "All those who thought the Redskins would start 2-0 with a rookie quarterback, raise your hands in a Griffining pose."
All but one of ESPN's panel of experts went with the Redskins to win on Sunday, and Yahoo! Sports' three-man group also picked Washington across the board.
