The Washington Redskins do not expect to have wide receiver Pierre Garcon available to play this Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported.

Team not planning on him. "It's pretty hard to play when the first time you really even try it is (warm-ups) before the game," source said

Garcon hurt his right foot last week during an 88-yard catch-and-run touchdown in the Redskins' 40-32 victory over the New Orleans Saints. For the game, Garcon totaled four catches for 109 yards and touchdown.
The fifth-year wideout has been unable to practice fully all week, sitting out Wednesday's session entirely before getting limited work in the next two days. He had been labeled questionable heading into Sunday's contest at Edward Jones Dome.
Throughout the preseason and up until his injury in Week 1, Garcon had been rookie sensation Robert Griffin III's favorite target. An offseason priority for coach Mike Shanahan, Garcon should give the Redskins the playmaker that it lacked last season.
