Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams will have an MRI on his injured his right knee, according to a report.
Williams was injured on the second play of the Redskins' 38-31 loss on Sunday to the Cincinnati Bengals. Williams was engaged with a defender when he fell to the field. After being attended to by trainers, Williams limped off the field and went to the locker room after testing his knee. Jordan Black replaced Williams when he left the game. Williams returned to the game in the second quarter.
Though he was seen walking through the locker room with a limp, Williams said after the game that he was not concerned that the knee injury would be serious. Williams also said he felt his knee gave out on the play which the injury occurred.
