Wizards Vs. Timberwolves: Wizards Take Lead Shortly, But Enter Halftime Down 55-48

The Wizards found themselves down by 10 points entering the second quarter, rallied to take a one-point lead and then trailed by seven all in 12 minutes. Washington trails Minnesota 55-48 at halftime.

Kevin Loves leads the Wolves with 21 points and six rebounds. On the other side, Al Thornton, Rashard Lewis and Kirk Hinrich all have 10 points each.

Washington started the second quarter down 28-18, but cut the lead to 35-33. The Wolves responded with six straight points, but the Wizards finally grabbed the lead at 42-41. It didn't last long as Minnesota quickly regained the lead.

Love is the only Wolves player in double figures, but the team is shooting 45% from the field.
