Rashard Lewis may be fairly new to the Washington Wizards, but that doesn't make him any less frustrated than his other teammates. As Lewis told Michael Lee of the Washington Post today, he desperately wants to break the team's road losing streak.
↵"I don't even want to play at home tomorrow. I want to play on the road, to get us a road win," Lewis said. "We do play well at home, but it's going to be a tough game for us. Toronto is a great team, but we got to get a road win. It's embarrassing to not have a road win, and we're in a new year, it's January and we're getting ready to go into the all-star break."↵
But wait. Why should Lewis assume that his team has any chance of winning if they do play on the road? The Wizards lose road games. It's a proven fact. They're 0-19 this year.
↵So does Lewis want to lose? Maybe the Wizards should play every game on the road the rest of the year. They would lose every one and finish 10-72. They'd have a great chance of winning the first overall draft pick for the second year in a row.
↵Hey maybe this Lewis character knows what he's talking about after all.
