Stay connected for news and updates

The Wizards have had a problem getting off to fast starts on the road, which has led to their abysmal 0-19 record away from Verizon Center, but Wednesday night has proven to be a different story.

Andray Blatche has eight points to lead the Wizards to a 27-19 first quarter lead over the Bucks.

Eight different Wizards scored in the first 12 minutes, including Rashard Lewis and Nick Young's four points and Hohn Wall's two points and seven assists.

Former Wizard Earl Boykins has six points for the Bucks, who are shooting only 26 percent from the field. Conversely, the Wizards are shooting 55 percent from the field.
