Wizards Vs. Bobcats: Wizards Extend Their Road Losing Streak To 18 As They Fall To Bobcats 104-89

Add one more loss to the Wizards road losing streak.

The Wizards lost their 18th consecutive road game tonight as they fell to the Bobcats 104-89 . Despite this being John Wall's return to his home state of North Carolina, he and his Wizards were unable to get out of their rut when it comes to road games.

The Wizards were in the game for much of the first two and a half quarters, but then began to do the things that bad teams do. After holding a slim third quarter lead, the Wizards began to turn the ball over, play terrible defense, and were unable to execute much of an offense in the fourth quarter. All of that added up to a dreadful final quarter, and yet again, another road loss.

Kirk Hinrich led the team with 18 points, while Wall had 16 points and 11 assists.

The Wizards will have another crack at ending their road losing streak in two games when they take on the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

Wizards Vs. Bobcats: Washington Trails The Bobcats 49-46 After One Half

After one half, the Wizards are trailing the Bobcats 49-46 in John Wall's homecoming to his home state of Carolina. Although the Wizards have trailed the majority of the half, they have hung in there, refusing to go away despite the early deficit.

The leading scorer so far for Washington is, guess who, John Wall. Number 2 is 6-10 shooting with 12 points and 6 assists. Fellow point guard Kirk Heinrich has done his part as well, chipping in with 8 points off of the bench. Center JaVale McGee and forward Andray Blatche have also chipped in with 6 points a piece.

The Wizards are only down by 3, but if they can continue to fight , perhaps they can shock the world, and finally win a road game this season. Maybe that could be asking for too much, but it would sure be a huge relief for these Wizards.

Wizards Vs. Bobcats: Washington Tries To Notch First Road Win Tonight In Charlotte

Fresh off of a dominating victory at home, the Washington Wizards will try to earn their first victory away from the Verizon Center this season as they take on the Charlotte Bobcats tonight on the road.

Washington has gone 0-17 this season on the road, a dubious mark that they will attempt to improve on as they will face a Charlotte team that only has three more victories than the Wizards. The two teams split their previous two meetings, both in Washington. Point guard John Wall having a double-double in the first meeting, a 93-85 loss, and was inactive due to a knee injury in the second game, where the Wizards won 108-75.

It is expected that the Wizards will yet again be without swingman Josh Howard, who missed last night's game with a sore left knee.

Given all of Washington's road struggles, they will need all the help they can get tonight.
