Andray Blatche Hosting 'Evening Of Sophistication' At D.C. Nightclub On New Year's Eve

Fair or unfair, Andray Blatche's reputation of spending too much time partying and not enough time working on his game probably will be reinforced by this. The Washington Wizards' forward is listed as the host for a New Year's Eve party at Harlem Nights, a club near the waterfront in Washington D.C. On the bright side, at least this will be a party full of intellectualism, according to the club's website (emphasis mine).

Ring in the New Year with class, style and distinction. Tazevents, Bobby Patterson, Tank, Yosef G & A-List Entertainment presents Harlem Nights NYE 2012: An evening of sophiscation on the Water Front hosted by Wizards Andray Blatche. Indulge in a 3-hour open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres while dancing the night away to the sounds of internationally renowned DJ B*Ryte & DJ Armageddon.

"An evening of sophistication" actually sounds pretty fun. The only problem is that hosting such an event one day before a game (the Wizards play the Boston Celtics at home at 6 p.m. on January 1) probably isn't a good idea.
