The Wizards beat the Bucks by a score of 100-85 to end an eight-game losing streak. Washington established the lead early in the game, taking a 47-37 lead at the half, and held on for a comfortable win at the Verizon Center.
The Wizards got a strong effort from their bigs, led by JaVale McGee. McGee finished with 16 points and 17 rebounds for the Wizards, who owned a 51-39 advantage on the glass. Andray Blatche chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds.
The Wizards were also able to limit Andrew Bogut. The Bucks center had eight points in the first quarter, but finished with just 12 points, though he added 11 rebounds.
Brandon Jennings -- playing with a screw in his foot -- was also not particularly effective. He picked it up in the second half to finish with 20 points, but needed 24 shots to get there.
The Wizards get one more home game Saturday against the Spurs before heading back on the road with a trip to Cleveland on Sunday, Feb. 13.
